Well, not according to research that is sited in the &lt;i&gt;Behavioral Neuroscience Journal&lt;/i&gt;.  Researchers found that when participants of a study were allowed to eat their favorite foods periodically, instead of restricting themselves, they consumed just enough to satisfy their hunger.  This reduced their caloric intake by 67!  This reinforces the fact that eating in moderation goes a very long way.</description>
