Well, not according to research that is sited in the Behavioral Neuroscience Journal. Researchers found that when participants of a study were allowed to eat their favorite foods periodically, instead of restricting themselves, they consumed just enough to satisfy their hunger. This reduced their caloric intake by 67%! This reinforces the fact that eating in moderation goes a very long way.
